DOLE ZDSFO LAUNCHES LEES VIDEOS AND MODULES IN PAGADIAN CITY AIR PORT

Pagadian City - With the massive campaign in promoting the DOLE Programs and Services, a Labor and Employment Education Services (LEES) audio-visual containing modules for its program partners and clients from the public and private sector in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the Department of Labor and Employment Zamboanga del Sur Field Office (DOLE ZDSFO) in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) victoriously launched the Labor and Employment Educational Services (LEES) advocacy program at Pagadian Airport Terminal, Muricay, Pagadian City on February 28, 2014 at 8 A.M. via the CAAP electronic billboard.
Ms. Lourdes B. Amores, DOLE ZDSFO Head gave the overview of the activity. In her presentation, she highlighted the significance of the LEES in promoting employment awareness to the general public specifically in the province of Zamboanga del Sur.
DOLE RO 9 Regional Director Sisinio B. Cano stressed out in his message that the LEES Videos and Modules are compilation of programs and services of DOLE and its attached family of agencies in audio-visual modules aimed to effectively raise the level of awareness of DOLE programs and services to partners, clients, stakeholders and the general public.
He further mentioned that the LEES Videos and Modules are information and educational materials that will assist the DOLE in its endeavor to promote and broadcast the various major programs and services to be viewed by the internal and external clients through various media forms such as electronic billboards, and social media, among others.
Director Sisinio B. Cano thereby turned-over the LEES Advocacy Program Material to Mr. Oting A. Brah, CAAP Manager. Thereafter, the LEES videos and modules were surprisingly unveiled to the participants.
In order to have a lasting support to the program, the DOLE and its partner agencies, such as the DTI, TESDA, Congressional Officers, CAAP, AVSECOM, GC, PRC, PESO, CTO, Provincial and City Government of Pagadian, DOTC and PIA had affixed their signatures in the commitment of support tarpaulin prepared as part of the LEES Advocacy Program.
The program partners represented by Mr. Oting A. Brah, CAAP Manager expressed his commitment to continuously air/play said advocacy material in support to the programs and services of the Department of Labor and Employment. Mr. Brah articulated his deepest thanks to the Department for choosing CAAP among the various institutions in Pagadian City as venue for the launching of the LEES. He said the LEES would not only raise clients' awareness on employment but would also give them the right information in relation to their employment.
